Issue 35

Growing up, we were meant to believe that superheroes wear capes, fly and possess super power (thanks to DC Comics and Marvel). However, these days, some incidents had helped us to understand that superheroes live among us. One of those incidents happened on the twentieth of July, two thousand and fourteen, when a Liberian diplomat, with a deadly disease, arrived in Lagos and then proceeded to Port-Harcourt. That was how Ebola virus gained access into Nigeria. This eventually led to the death of eight people and twenty infected. Thanks to Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh (her blessed memory) who accurately diagnosed the patient. That singular act stopped the spread of Ebola Virus in Nigeria.

When Nigeria was declared Ebola free, another hero, Dr. Freeman Osonuga, volunteered as one of the doctors who went to Sierra Leone to combat and attend to Ebola patients.  He was posted to the northern part of Sierra Leone where he attended to Ebola patients every day for six months. That risky, but brave act got him the Presidential Award.

Upon his return to Nigeria, he decided to go into real estate, setting up the Adloyalty Business Network, a real estate brokerage firm with over fifty thousand realtors. Dr. Freeman Osonuga believes in decentralizing wealth and that is what he is doing with his businesses. In this interview, read the inspiring and insightful one-on-one discussion with Dr. Freeman Osonuga who is yet another superhero in the real estate industry.
