When I started my first business, I was inexperienced, so it failed very quickly. And I was quick to attach the failure of the business to my lack of business management skills and experience. Of course, I may be right, but I was also wrong to an extent. I didn’t attach the failure of the business to visualization until many years after. Back then, I didn’t know how important it was to visualize whatever you want.

Visualization is the ability to see into the future; to create a mental image f what you want. It is living the future in the present. For some, this may be impossible because they have never done it before. Maybe they sometimes do it, but unconsciously. And that is why they don’t get definite result. Visualization can only change your reality if you consciously engage in it.

This is the gospel truth: the human mind is linked with the intelligent force or power that controls the universe. This power makes available to you whatsoever you imagine. And the only thing you must do is to visualize what you want. It is not your lot to understand the universal power and the process of turning your imagination into reality. All you need to know is that your reality is the product of your imagination. So, what you must focus on is your imagination and not the process of manifestation. That is the lot of the universe and the intelligent power that controls it. You also need to know that visualization is a routine you must engage in every morning before you do anything and late at night before you sleep. Here is the process.

Step One:  When you wake up in the morning, before you begin your daily routine, close your eyes and visualize what you want to achieve. You don’t need a special position; this isn’t a yoga session. You can choose to lay on your bed or sit upright, the decision is yours. The most important thing is to visualize what you want for yourself. Close your eyes, block out every unnecessary thought and focus only on what you want. Hold that important picture of what you want in your mind for 5 to 10 minutes. Live that reality in your mind like it is real. And trust me; your imagination will become your reality soon.

Step Two: Create an affirmative statement from your visualization. It means to write what you are visualizing in past tense as if you have achieved it. This is important because the mind and the universe are not conscious of time; they are eternal. But a statement that talks about yesterday drives the universe to respond to a need that should have been met. Once written, have your affirmative statement close to you at all time. Read it aloud to yourself at least twice a day—in the morning and late at night. In so doing, the mind has its unique way of sending out your request to the universe and corresponding action will come from the same universe. 

Step Three: Create a visualization or dream board. It is a small notice board or a notebook where you clip the related pictures of what you want. Your visualization isn’t complete without a visualization or dream board. Find pictures that represent what you want and clip them on your board or notebook. The mind and the universe understand images more than written statements or spoken words. Feed the mind and the universe what they truly want and see what will happen.

Step Four: Take corresponding action. When you go through the first three steps, the universe will communicate to your mind; it will tell you what you need to do to activate your dream. And you know what? Just do it without delay. The pace has been set by the universe; your corresponding action must compliment that. So act fast and quickly, and the result will be the manifestation of your visualization.
