4 Things To Do Before The Year Ends

When the year is coming to an end, the atmosphere suddenly changes as people begin to prepare for the festive period. It is quite unfortunate that we have not seen a sign of festivity because of the happenings of this year. However, the year will still come to an end with its festivity. At least, there is every reason to be grateful for being alive. During festive season, most large businesses start rounding up for the year, and so are most entrepreneurs who own small and medium enterprises. There is nothing wrong with closing the door of your business to catch up with the holiday. After all, the year has been very challenging for everyone across the globe.

The truth is: smart entrepreneurs and business owners do not go on holiday. Your bankers don’t. Grocery stores don’t. Gas Stations don’t. Event Planners don’t. Restaurants don’t. Virtually every smart business owners know this fact: consumers desperately want to meet their needs and wants during the festive period regardless of the circumstance around them. And these business owners know how to position their businesses for holiday sales.

As an entrepreneur, the thought that should be in your mind is how to position your business for the festive sales. I bet you are thinking differently now. If you are, here is what you need to do.

First and foremost, you need to reach into your database and offer your customers the festive season discount sales. Every shopper or consumer, during festive period, are looking for discount sales and opportunity to buy things in bulk. So, it is time to let your customers know that your business won’t do otherwise. So, get the message out through whatever medium or media you are using to reach out to your customers.

Don’t just alert your customers alone; get the word out to attract potential customers too. During festive period, consumers don’t pay attention to household brands; they pay attention to the brands with the best competitive price. There is a silly myth that things are always scarce and expensive during festive period, so customers are looking for the best offer. You should be the one to offer them that.

Thirdly, you just don’t want to get your customers and potential customers hooked; you also want them to tell their family and friends about your business and its ridiculous offer. So, offer them a referral bonus too. Let them know that they can also make money by referring you to their friends and family members. Everybody loves the color of money. Your customers and potential customers are part of everybody. Trust me they are.

Lastly, you need captured customers to return over and over again. There should be a system you have put in place that keeps your customers coming back. If you don’t have such in place, then the best time to do that is now. Like I always say, fish in the ocean and bring them to your pond and then feed them consistently. And the rest is history.
