Most times, we believe that good things happen to good people and bad things to bad people. We believe that life is only fair to the good and unfair to the bad. But the universe isn’t designed to choose who to favor or not. Like one of the Chinese proverbs say: “Sometimes life can be as bitter as dragon tears. But whether dragon tears are bitter or sweet depends entirely on how each man perceives them”. For Dr. Ngozi Onyia, life was sweet, and then it became bitter. Dr. Ngozi was daddy’s little girl who admired him as a medical doctor. He was her first role model; she looked forward to that day when she would fit perfectly into his shoes. And so, conscious, she trod the same career path.
After many years of study and hard work, she eventually became a medical doctor, and later a specialist—pediatrician. Life for her was sweet, until the eleventh day in November, two thousand and thirteen. That day marked an incident that changed her life and perception forever. In this interview, read the inspiring and cutting-edge business truth from Dr. Ngozi Onyia, the Founder and Medical Director of Paelon Memorial Clinic.
