In ancient days, people believed that men were forged into gods on the battlefield. Those who conquered territories were seen and adored as gods by the mere mortals. Some of these men-turned-gods were knowm for their destructive nd evil acts: some lived and sacrifices their lives to defend their territories and citizens.

In these present days, among those whose names will forever be sung as defenders of countrymen is Rolihlahla Mandela who was born on the 18 July 1918 in Mveso, a small town in the Umtata district of the Eastern Cape of South Africa
